As soloist, choreographer and master teacher, Ms. Gray has toured extensively across the US and abroad and is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Tapestry Dance Company. A premiere member of the Austin Arts Hall of Fame, nominated for a prestigious Alpert Award in the Arts, Ms. Gray has received grants from the NEA National College Choreography Initiative and her production of The Souls of Our Feet was chosen for the 2007 and 2008 NEA American Masterpiece touring roster. Her critically acclaimed book The Souls of Your Feet is available at all major bookstores. Ms. Gray served on the Steering Committee for the National Tap Plan, was recognized as a leader in the field in Lynn Dally’s UCLA event Women In Tap and is the recipient of the 2010 Hoofer Award by Tap City – The New York City Tap Festival. Ms. Gray is the current Board President of the International Tap Association.
